AI-Based Innovation Rating
Innovation, measured. Expert-verified.
U2 AI Innovation rates a company's innovation management capacity: firms assess themselves on the platform, AI drafts the scores, and independent expert assessors verify them on site. The result is a corporate-grade report your board, your bank and your program office can actually use.

The shift
Everyone says they innovate. Few can show a score.
Innovation capacity hides in culture, strategy, process and metrics, so most companies only discover their gaps when a grant application fails or a transformation stalls. A structured rating makes the invisible measurable, and an expert visit makes the measurement defensible.
A self-assessment is an opinion. A verified rating is evidence.
The platform
From questionnaire to a rating that stands up.
One platform runs the whole cycle: structured self-assessment, AI-drafted scoring, expert calibration in the field, and a corporate-grade report at the end.
Rating Engine
Six axes, nineteen sub-dimensions, one defensible score.
- Leadership, organization, planning, process, performance, improvement
- 76 structured questions: 36 indicators plus 40 capacity items on a 5-point scale
- Aligned with ISO 56002:2019 and ISO/TR 56004 assessment practice
Hybrid Verification
The AI drafts. Expert assessors decide.
- On-site interviews walk through every dimension with the team
- Evidence is examined; scores are calibrated, not copied
- Every adjustment is logged in a full audit trail
Benchmarking
A score means little without peers around it.
- Axis and sub-dimension comparison within the assessment pool as it grows
- Level bands from Bronze to Platinum, per axis and overall
- Indicator benchmarks: engineers, R&D staff, IP, export share
Report Studio
Corporate-grade output, ready for institutions.
- Executive summary, axis charts, per-dimension assessments
- Barrier analysis: internal and external blockers, scored
- A rigorous format companies can bring into mentorship and support programs
Roadmap & Recommendations
A rating is the start. The plan is the point.
- Prioritized recommendations per sub-dimension
- Strengths to protect, gaps to close, in operator language
- Re-assessment tracks progress rating to rating
Program & Data
Built for cohorts, careful with data.
- Runs single firms or whole program cohorts side by side
- Evidence collection with document upload and interview notes
- KVKK-aware data handling; your answers stay yours
How it works
From first login to a verified rating, in four steps.
Assess online
The company answers 76 structured questions on the platform: hard indicators first, then capacity items across all nineteen sub-dimensions.
AI drafts the rating
Models score every axis, compare against the pool, and draft findings: strengths, gaps and the questions an expert should push on.
Experts visit and calibrate
An independent expert assessor interviews the team on site, examines evidence and adjusts scores. Every change is logged with its reasoning.
Rated, reported, benchmarked
The company gets its level, the full report and a prioritized roadmap. Institutions get a format designed for their review.
Who it's for
Built for everyone who has to judge innovation capacity.
Wherever innovation capacity must be measured, compared or proven, the same need holds: a consistent score, verified by a human, delivered as a report.
Manufacturing SMEs
See your strengths and gaps through an assessment lens, and close them before your next application.
Chambers & industrial zones
Rate a whole member cohort consistently and hand each firm a report worth keeping.
Mentorship programs
A shared baseline for mentors and mentees, and re-assessments that show the program worked.
Consultants & mentors
Arrive with a verified diagnostic instead of a blank notebook; leave with a measurable before-and-after.
Corporate innovation teams
Turn "we should innovate more" into axis-level numbers the board can act on.
Transformation programs
Green and digital transition programs get a capacity lens: who is ready, who needs support first.
Why U2 AI Innovation
Measurement that earns trust.
Standards-aligned
The model follows ISO 56002:2019 innovation management practice and ISO/TR 56004 assessment guidance, mapped to six axes and nineteen sub-dimensions. No home-made scale, no black box.
Human-verified AI
AI reads the answers and drafts the scores; it never has the last word. Independent expert assessors calibrate every rating on site, and their reasoning ships with the report.
Benchmarked within your cohort
Scores land next to their cohort's pool, axis by axis, and the benchmark deepens as the pool grows. A 3.1 means something when you can see what the average firm in your cohort scores on the same line.
A U2 AI Studio venture
Built inside U2 AI Studio, the team building AI products across carbon accounting, energy operations, defence simulation and more. Cross-domain experience, one engineering culture.

FAQ
Frequently asked questions
What exactly does the rating measure?
Innovation management capacity: how well a company generates, selects, executes and learns from innovation. It is scored on six axes (Leadership and Intent, Organization, Planning and Support, Process, Performance Evaluation, Improvement) broken into nineteen sub-dimensions such as strategy, climate and culture, teams, opportunity identification, concept creation and validation, innovation metrics and dynamic capabilities.
How is the score calculated?
Companies complete a structured self-assessment on the platform: 36 indicator questions about the company and its R&D record, plus 40 capacity questions on a 5-point scale. The AI drafts axis and sub-dimension scores with findings. Experts then visit the company, interview the team, examine evidence and calibrate every score before the rating is finalized.
What are the rating levels?
Four bands on a 0 to 5 scale: Bronze (0-2, entry), Silver (2-3, developing), Gold (3-4, advanced) and Platinum (4-5, expert). Each axis also carries its own band, so a company sees exactly where it is strong and where it lags its peers.
Is this an official TÜBİTAK or Ankara Chamber of Industry product?
No. U2 AI Innovation is an independent product of U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.Ş. Its assessments and reports are aligned with the axis-based methodology used in the TÜBİTAK 1831 Green Innovation Technology Mentorship Call, in which Ankara Chamber of Industry takes part as a solution partner, so a company preparing for such programs can use the report as its own preparatory reference; whether any institution considers it is entirely at that institution's discretion. Institution names are used for identification purposes only; the rating is not an official certificate, approval or endorsement.
What happens during the expert visit?
An independent expert assessor spends roughly two hours with the leadership and the teams, walking through every dimension of the self-assessment: challenging answers, reviewing evidence and recording observations. The visit calibrates the AI-drafted scores, and each adjustment is logged, so the final rating is defensible line by line.
What is inside the report?
An executive summary, the overall rating and level, axis and sub-dimension scores compared within the assessment pool, per-dimension assessments with strengths and gaps, an analysis of internal and external barriers, and prioritized recommendations. It is written for boards, program offices and institutional stakeholders, not just for the innovation team.
Who is behind U2 AI Innovation?
U2 AI Innovation is a venture of U2 AI Studio Teknoloji A.Ş., based in Ankara, Türkiye: a multidisciplinary team of AI and software engineers building AI products across several domains, from carbon accounting to energy operations.
